I put this app on my son''s phone in case it was stolen or lost. Well it proved helpful when my son lost his phone on Sat. may 30th. Only two days later and I had given up hope, thinking it was left in the park and we had rain all day. I''m at work and my cell phone rings and it says, "******''s Cell". I about died! As I was on the phone I got a geo-fence alert saying it left the location where it last was. So even if the guy didn''t call me I''d know where it was. Because the phone is a 4s he had to go to the cell phone store to charge it enough to call me. He''s dropping off the phone tomorrow.
Now, what I want to know is... why didn''t the person who found it try to find the owner?
OMG i am so happy!! Now i don''t have to buy another phone!
I had find my iphone activated for lost mode but because I am signed into my icloud account I have to manually sign into my son''s account I didn''t get an on screen notification that it was found. but I got the text for the geo-fence activation!
