Hi.in geofence page it says:

After a geo-fence event is triggered, your geo-fence will go standby for 2 hours. After that, it will resume monitoring your location.

is it for that geofence or all geofences?

does standby means it will stop working?

is there a way for it not to go standby?

Standby means that the geofence stops monitor your device fence for 2 hours. The location tracking for your device is still working. This behavior is only for your current device. It does not affect other devices in your account. The geofencing for your other devices still monitors.

This is so designed to decrease the number of alert emails and there is no way to turn this behavior off.

i''''d like to know as well. I set up a Geo-Fence and it works, albeit 30 minutes after the fact but now the option is "ghosted". I can''''t figure out how to delete it.

*** UPDATE ***
Nevermind. I finally figured it out. I was on the screen that showed multiple devices instead of the screen with the specific device that had the Geo-Fence setup on.

How do I delete an old geofence and create a new geofence based on the current location?

You don''t need to delete your fence. Just modify your existing fence.

You meant I can drag from China to New York? But what if I don''t know what direction I should be dragging? For example, from a specific hotel in China to a specific location in NYC? Can a "reset to current location" button be added to the Geo Fence, which I believe should be very easy for the dev team to do as that is how you would locate the current location of a cell phone?

We will be adding a search box in the geofence page (inside the map), that allows you to enter an address or a place. This will move the pin to that location. It will be much better than drag and drop for your case.

It will be ready within the next few days.

The search box is ready in the geofence setup page. You can enter an address or search a location.

There is no "submit" button for entering an address? The map is not getting updated after an address is entered?

Currently this is not possible. You can only download the lat/lng data but not related to your geofence. But we will log your idea to the user request list and will evaluate it later.

So if you enter a geofence & exit it 45 minutes later it won''t email you? That defeats the purpose in a way, doesn''t it? What if I set up multiple geofences within a .25 radius outside the main one I need to monitor, would the others pick up entries/exits while the main exit left off? I need to see exit & re-entry. Right now I''m getting one entry & multiple exits.

Once the geofence is triggered, it will sleep for one hour for this geofence. The sleep time is active on this fence only. If it exits this fence and enter another fence within one hour, the 2nd fence will be triggered and you will get an email. If you have problem with the one hour timeout, please email us and we can work out a solution for you.
