FMee hasnt been tracking for 4 days. Log shows this error:

Socket send returns error: java.io.IOException: Tunnel failed. Step=0

Advice?

Maybe the network stacks is corrupted. Reboot the phone by pulling the battery.

Make sure that the app is running the latest version. If this problem occurs regularly, set the auto reboot option in the app settings.

I had to stop/start the APP and it started working again. If it persists I will try the autoreboot - anyway to make reboot work when phone is locked?

The app already has a function to restart itself if the error count reaches a threshold. Can you send the log file to supports to look at if this function was ever called? To send the log file, open the app and click About - Email Supports.

The auto reboot function does not work when the phone is locked and currently there is no workaround.

ok - I will try to get the logs to you. it actually still hasn't been working. Im suspecting maybe there is a conflict with another GPS enabled app - miCoach (adidas)- because the problem seemed to start after that app was installed. Not 100% sure tho.

OK, Received the log file. The problem was caused by a bug in previous version that in unreliable network situation, the connection setting might be reset. Without the proper connection setting, the app could not upload the location.

This bug has been fixed and please update the app to the latest version either via this web site, or Blackberrry App World.

So, just to clean the slate I removed FMEE form my BB, rebooted. Now when I go to BB App world via the phone it says FMEE Deluxe is not available for my phone. I paid for the deluxe before and was sure it was installed and working. Does FMEE Deluxe not work on BB Bold 9700?

Use the OTA link for install. The license stays with your device.
