I have a small company where I track 10 employees. Each has an Iphone 6s with the FollowMee app installed. All of the phones have location services enabled, set to always track, and changes are not allowed through the restrictions setting. 9 of the ten consistently work. One of the employees though has found a way to stop tracking. I get a location update each morning around 8, then I don''t get a location update for the rest of the day. I replaced the phone to rule out technical issues, but that didn''t solve the problem. Other than turning the phone off, what can a user do to not be tracked?

The app only updates the map when the phone has changed location. If the employee stays at the same location after he arrives in the office in the morning, you won''t see update on the map.
If this is not case, please provide the device name, and we can take a look.

The employee drives from place to place throughout the day. She insist that the phone is on all of the time. Here is the device ID. (12113416) Can you see what is going on for me?

We got the log file for this device and we did not see evidence that the user has tried to stop the app. But the app could stop for hours, even though the device is moving. The app did not detect this location change. We suspect that the phone was placed in a location that GPS signal is blocked and becomes unavailable.
You might also try to reboot the phone.

Is it possible she''s leaving the phone at home and forwarding calls and/or texts to another phone?
I would put a tracker on the vehicle she''s using to see if she is doing the right thing. You could get another phone and hide it in the vehicle w/ follow me on it.
I just saw this was posted in February. I''m wondering what happened with this.

Can you describe the reboot process? I rebooted my iPhone7 by pressing vol. dn. and power buttons ''til the apple logo reappeared and my phone is still not getting GPS data to me through my daily emails.

On your iphone 7, press and hold the power button until the "slide to power off" appear. Use it to shut down the phone. When the phone is powered down, press the power button to turn it on. This should fix the no gps location issue.
