I just changed the password on my account and it said to be sure to update the password on the devise''s app otherwise it will stop working. Does this mean the app will stop tracking the devise and no log will be generated? Or will there still be a location log I can access though app is not working on the devise? Thanks.

What you have done is a password mismatch. The phone tries to log in with the old password which was changed on the followmee server so it will fail. You need to login on the phone with the newly changed password.

If you are running an old version of the app, the app might stop if you have a wrong password in the app. The current version fixes this problem. The app will run under the expired or changed password indefinitely, until you restart the tracker app (by pressing the stop button and then the start button). But it is best to update the password in the app to make sure that everything runs smoothly.

nice, i used to have the same concern. imagine checking all tracked phone because of some silly password modification. it would drive me nuts.
