I have installed the stealh app followed the instructions. When finished intalling i dialed the code #000* which open the app . which confirmed to me that the app is installed. But the next day when i checked on the phone''s position, it shows that the phone hasn,t move from its last position (which was my home). Why is it not working?

You can perform a quick trouble shooting on the map page in the complete web site (not available in mobile site). Select the device with trouble, and click the link "Don''t see your location" under the map.
I just looked into your account and found out that the phone user has disabled location service. You can see this error if you follow the step above.

Can you check my husband''s Droid? He has his phone and used it a few hours ago to let me know he''s on the other side of the state, but it''s not updating. we had the same problem when he took a trip in early June. Thanks.

From your account, I cannot determine the cause of the problem. There are a lot situations that might cause the no update issue:
- The device is turned off completely and therefore the app cannot run. - The device does not have internet access to upload the location data to the server. - The user has uninstalled the app from the target device
It is hard to say which situation is currently affecting the device. If you have the device, you can look into the app to see if any error message.

I believe you need physical access to the device to enable GPS. Enabling or disabling GPS is outside the privileges of followmee.

Is there a way to isolate FollowMee from user tampering? Turning off location services or GPS?
This is not possible. If the user has turned off GPS, only the user can turn it on again. This FollowMee tracking app does not have the security privilege to turn on GPS.

not working gps and not showing location
If your gps is not working you need to first get that working on your device as it is a prerequisite. Other troubleshooting tips:

App is set to send gps location every 5 minutes. When I go to map page on a different device, and select history, the locations reported are every 10 minutes. When I refresh the map page, or ask for a forced location update, Nothing updates, even when I go back to 1 hour history, the locatons remail updated. Even after waiting for 15 to 20 minutes or more.
