The app is great but after finding out it only updates windows phones every half hour would I be better off buying a cheap android phone or do you think windows will reduce the time in the near future? otherwise I think my best option is to buy a cheap android phone and use that as my tracker. Any suggestions most welcome

You are right. You are better off getting a cheap android phone. Make sure that is running android version 4.0! Or above. I am very disappointed at Microsoft too. I have waited one year, and their new version v8.1 still does not deliver more frequent agent.

This Samsung Galaxy Ace is running Android v2.2 and it might not be the best device. The GPS stack might be corrupted after running a while in an Android v2.2 device. I would use a device running Android v4.0 or above.

My 4 Windows Phones poll every 20 minutes, not 30.
I know it''s not much help but is an improvement.

Make sure you are not getting a 8520. That phone does not have GPS and FollowMee cannot run in it.

Jade:

I don''t have one and I cannot tell me how it works with the app. As long as it is Android v4.0 or above, the app should be fine with your device
