I used the phone this am to take a trek around the city. I know the phone was transmitting locations every 5 min because I could see it in the log. But when I looked on the site, the GPS location showed a very early location only (my house location before I had left). So it basically picked up none of my journey by gps. If you switch to non-gps view, it shows the basic route, but obviously not the gps locations. Is there a setting or something I''m missing to have the site update gps location more often? Even after refreshing it only shows the very early location. The phone was in clear view of the sky almost the entire trip, not sure what I am missing here. I have now changed the force update to 30 min, it was set to 6 hrs.

Do you have background app refresh disabled in the phone setting? If so, this gps tracker app will have very short time to scan location and go back to sleep. This is too short to obtain a GPS location. You can enable this setting in Settings -> General -> Background App Refresh

I have the same problem with two of my three phones. The problem started a couple of days ago after a sim card change.

OK, solved my problem (I think) by deleting the two phones in question from FollowMee and letting them re-establish themselves.

No dice, backround app refresh is enabled, but mine is still showing last update from the 16th. But the phone seems to be sending a location from what I can see on the log.

What do you mean by "deleting the phone and letting it re-establish itself"?

How do I do that? I''m having the same problem.

What they mean is that you delete the device in you account page of this web site. Then stop the app in your device. Then press the start button. This will add this device back to your account page.

But before you try this approach, I would suggest you to look into the app to see if any error message. If you need help, you can send the log file to us and we can investigate for you. To send the log file, open the app and click About - Send Log File to Supports. Make sure to send a separate email to supports to notify the log file. Otherwise, your log file will be ignored.
