Chris - this is an unknown file type! Not so helpful to average amateur user ....
And the link at the base of account page (re Android Stealth mode) is fmee://open_stealth_app/ which "cannot be displayed".
This is frustrating! Advice please?

The link is for open the stealth app. If your android phone does not have the stealth app installed, you will see this error message - Unknown file type.

Once app icon is removed and Stealth mode is installed and enabled, how do i access the app to change settings, make sure it is running, etc?

There are 2 ways to do it.
To open the app, you will dial #000* on the phone dialer. Or open the device browser and navigate to the Account page of the FollowMee web site and click the stealth app link at the bottom of the page.

Thank you Administrator. That was exactly what i needed.
Now, the only trace of the app is in the downloads folder. Can i delete it from the downloads folder since it is already "installed?" Sorry for the question, but i''m a little unclear as how the stealth app works and i want to be sure i can delete from the downloads folder without disabling/deleting the app. Thanks again.

Since having installed stealth mode with the app running on android, and having removed the download visibility as well, the updates are now NOT happening. Please can you help? I''ve now sent my 5 year old son off into the world without being able to track him. Is there anything I can do remotely?

If you have the device, you can look into the app to see if any error message. If you need help, you can send the log file to us and we can investigate for you. To send the log file, open the app and click About - Email to Supports. Make sure to write something in the body of the email to reference to this email. Otherwise, your log file will be ignored.

Hi, Phyllis Swenson:
The link is to open the stealth app in your tracked device. You have to do so in the tracked device. Two ways to get this error message.
1. If your tracked android device does not have the stealth app installed, you will see this error message - Unknown file type.
2. If you open the link in a browser not in your tracked device, you will see this error. This is common error while a lot of users open the account page in their computer.

The problem I am having with steath mode is after sending steath mode a couple of weeks ago, I went in to check something and I entered my access code in the phone dialer as I have always done and now its trying to dial my code. I can''t get to the configuration and the only way to do that is uninstall and reinstall. Have I missed something?
