Hi FollowMee -
Would you consider adding timezone support to your KML data?
Here''s the problem scenario:
I fly from Washington DC to Seattle WA.
My phone updates itself from Eastern to Central to Mountain to Pacific time.
I export the KML file from FollowMee.
A track point at 2:54:05 PM Pacific time is followed by a track point at 2:55:50 PM MOUNTAIN time is followed by a track point at 2:56:19 PM Pacific time is followed by a track point at 2:57:19 PM MOUNTAIN time And so on and so on.
This generates a track that contains hundreds of segments, essentially interlacing every point in the current time zone with the same clock-time point in the preceding time zone(s).
Looking at the KML, it contains the local timestamp but no TZ indicator.
Yes, it''s possible to map from Lat/Long to TZ to UTC, but what a pain.
FollowMee, would you consider adding timezone support to your KML data?
