In Android devices, you have two ways to terminate an app. You can touch the "Recent Apps" button and choose the app you want to terminate. Or you can open the device Settings -> Applications -> FollowMee and touch the "Force Stop" button. Under the first method, this FollowMee app continues to track in the background. However, under the second method, this app will stop tracking. To resume tracking, you must open the app from the device screen.
For Xiaomi phones, the app stops tracking even if you use the first method to terminate it. To solve this problem, you need to make a setting change. Open the Security app, choose Permissions -> Autostart and enable FollowMee.
