App is set to send location every 5 min. It sends every 10 min.
Your website shows updates every 20 minutes In the 10 minute increments.
This occurs even though the phone is changing locations down the highway.

For android phone, you need to exclude the FollowMee app from battery optimization in the phone setting. For details, see this faq

Phone is a SAMSUNG-SM-J320A

Low power is selected in app.
Followmee is excluded from power saving.
App was restarted on phone.
Still no change on the 10 minute updates when 5 minute is selected. And it takes 20 minutes for those updates to update website.

It could be the phone that intentionally slows down the FollowMee app in order to preserve the battery performance. Set the track interval to 1 minute. Maybe the phone will slow down the 1 minute interval to a 5 minute one.

Thanks.
I''ll give that a shot tonight.
By the way, the phone is running 7.1.1

Set reports to 1 minute this morning.
Still working the same. Position reported every 5 min, but website only updates every 10 minutes.

When I reviewed your history data, I found that when the device is on the move, you get update every 5 minutes. This happened between 3 pm to 5 pm on today (Dec 14, 2017)

Thank you for checking.
The app is set to upload position every minute. It is now uploading every five minutes. New position appears on the map 5 minutes after it is set to upload.
This is all close enough for me. Just trying to troubleshoot why..
Thanks again,
